Back in 2018, Facebook has launched the “Access Your Information”, so this allowed people to view and download the data, as well as access account information on Facebook. Facebook now repaint the “Access Your Information” with a new design and fresh-looking grids and cards.
So how to find Access Your Information on Facebook? First, click on the hamburger menu of your Facebook app (for iOS users it will bottom of the right corner, and Android users can find the hamburger menu top of the right corner). Then find the “Settings & Privacy”, then drop down the arrow, and click on the “Settings”.
Under the Settings find “Your Facebook Information” you can also use search to find it. Once you find Your Facebook Information, now you are able to see “Access Your Information”. Here you will find the following information, as shown in the image below.
This new design includes the following eight categories:
- Your Recent Activity on Facebook
- Friends and Followers
- Preferences
- Personal Information
- Logged Information
- Ads Information
- Apps and Websites Off of Facebook
- Security and Login Information
And each one of these categories has sub-categories like in Recent Activity Across Facebook, which includes Your Posts, Videos You have Watched, Comments and Reactions, Messenger, and Groups, and many more sub-categories, and easy to navigate.
Facebook also added search functionality, so you can find information that you need by simply searching for them. They also added information about how your data may be used to personalized your experience on Facebook.
