Acer announced two new Acer Aspire 5 and Acer Aspire 7 laptops powered by powerful new AMD Ryzen 5000 Series mobile processors which deliver fast and reliable performance for laptops. The new AMD Ryzen 5000 Series mobile processors can be configurable up to 8 core CPUs, combines with low power high bandwidth memory with low power consumption, and up to double the data transfer rates than the previous generation RAM.
Acer Aspire 5
The new Acer Aspire 5 comes with new AMD Ryzen 5000 Series mobile processors, AMD Radeon RX 640 mobile graphics, 24GB of RAM, and up to 1TB of NVMe SSD or up to 2TB of a hard disk drive. It has USB Type-C connectivity, Dual-Band Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), and also thermal design with multiple cooling modes.
Acer Aspire 5 is an affordable laptop for students and photographers with balance-loaded performance, for those who need to run some sort of heavy applications or a handling multitasking. It has a 15.6-inch Full HD display, with Acer’s BlueLightShield technology to reduce the emission of potentially harmful blue light. It has a 0.70-inch (17.95mm) slim body design and sandblasted aluminum cover to give a sleek and polished look.
Acer Aspire 7
The new Acer Aspire 7 also comes with AMD Ryzen 5000 Series mobile processor with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 GPU design for both professional creators and gaming users. It is a portable laptop weighing just 2.15 kg. It can be configured up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM, and up to 1TB of PCIe-based SSD storage. It also has a USB Type-C connectivity for data transfer up to 5Gbps, and Dual-Band Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax).
Acer Aspire 7 comes with a 15.6-inch Full HD display with a narrow bezel. It has some of Acer’s built-in features Acer Color Intelligence provides a more brilliant and vivid display with less CPU loading, it dynamically adjusts gamma and saturation in real-time to optimize screen color and brightness without clipping or over-saturation. And Acer ExaColor for highly accurate visuals. Its thermal architecture has multiple cooling modes, ensuring the cool and quiet operation of the notebook. The fan speed may alternate between silent, standard, or output with a single touch of the “Fn+F” shortcut.
The new Acer Aspire 5 will be available in North America in March starting at USD 549.99, and it will available in EMEA in February starting at EUR 699. And the new Acer Aspire 7 will be available in the same countries and same time at USD 749.99 and in EMEA at EUR 899.
