Recently Facebook launched Facebook News in the U.S. with local news and videos to boost publishers to its platform with the promise of increased distribution. In October 2019, Facebook tested out a News feature in the limited users in the U.S.

Facebook News helps publishers to reach out to new audiences, and over 95% of the traffic Facebook News delivers to publishers is incremental to the traffic they already get from the News Feed.
