Google One, an online cloud storage service will now back up your Android and iOS device for free with a Google account. iOS app will be able to back up your photos, videos, contacts, and calendar events. For Android it automatically backup messages, MMS, contacts, and apps, this will now be free and not require an additional monthly or yearly subscription as all Google Accounts get 15GB of storage. While Google offers paid storage plans that start from $1.99 (Rs.130) per month for 100GB of storage. Check out the all plans details from here.

Note: G Suite users can’t get this feature.

The new Google One for Android feature is now rolling out, you can download from the Google Play Store, while the iOS users will be getting this feature in the coming days (Google One app soon available to download in the coming days from the iPhone App Store). The Google One storage management feature is available from either app or the web. This will allow you to manage files saved from Google Drive, Gmail, and Photos all in one place.
