According to Apple TV+ latest report, Jared Leto the winner of the Academy, Golden Globe, and SAG Award, and Anne Hathaway the Academy, Golden Globe and SAG Award winner will be staring in the Apple TV+ upcoming new limited series “WeCrashed” (based on the hit podcast “WeCrashed”), directed by John Requa and Glenn Ficarra, and created by Lee Eisenberg and Drew Crevello.
“WeCrashed” is produced by Lee Eisenberg (Spirit Award-nominated “Little America,” “Good Boys”) and Drew Crevello (“The Long Dark”) and will be directed by John Requa and Glenn Ficarra (“This is Us,” “Crazy Stupid Love”), previously in production at Apple and scheduled to be produced by Apple Studios. Together with Charlie Gogolak, Requa and Ficarra will executive produce. Also acting as executive producers will be Eisenberg, Crevello, and Natalie Sandy. Via their Paradox production company, Emma Ludbrook will executive produce alongside Leto.
The greed-filled rise and inevitable fall of WeWork, one of the most valuable startups in the world, and the narcissists whose chaotic love made it all possible will follow “WeCrashed.”
Lee Eisenberg will co-write, executive produce, and act as showrunner of the series alongside Drew Crevello as part of his overall contract with Apple TV+. Executive producing would also be Wondery.
