Today, Facebook announced that Lionsgate, Sony Pictures, and Warner Bros. are bringing their new content to Messenger’s newly launched “Watch Together”. Watch Together allows people to view video, movies, television shows, and other content at the same time in a Messenger video call or in Messenger Rooms.

Messenger’s Watch Together allowing you to spend time with friends and loved ones feel as close to an in-person experience as possible. Simply start a Messenger video call or create a Messenger Room then swipe up to access the menu and select Watch Together. From there you can select all the content Facebook Watch has to offer, which includes different categories like ‘TV & Movies.’

“The company says that “people can tune in together, even if they’re not, featuring Fruitvale Station, Hairspray, and Reservoir Dogs, just to name a few, with hits like Madea’s Family Reunion, and Karate Kid coming soon. Or, maybe binge-watch a season of Community or Dawson’s Creek with your besties. And with Halloween coming up, get into the spooky spirit with selections like The Blair Witch Project, The Descent, or The Grudge 2.”
