Messenger added a new exciting collection of Halloween special artwork, AR effects, and animated 360-degree backgrounds to bring a little extra virtual fun to friends, family, and trick-or-treaters.
As we know due to pandemic, we can’t physically be together for Halloween, that’s why Messenger brings these features in the Messenger camera to help everyone have a little more fun while we’re social distancing.
According to the Messenger report, each week throughout the month of October you can hang out in a different themed room of “Dr. Madhaus’s Holloween Mansion” with animated 360-degree backgrounds and AR effects which is found in the Messenger camera, on a video call, and in a Messenger Rooms.
“Whether you decide to become the headless waiter in the ballroom or prefer to hang out in the laboratory with mad scientists, or you will be able to virtually celebrate Halloween with any of your friends and family without worrying about finding a costume, or doing your makeup, or even decorating your home.”

Messenger offering 360-degree backgrounds and AR filters, designed in a partnership with Universal Pictures and Crash McCreery, legendary character and creature designer from a film like Jurassic Park, Edward ScissorHands, Batman Returns, and Pirates of the Caribbean. In a Messenger Rooms and on video calls, you will be able to dress up as Frankenstein or Bride of Frankenstein using AR filters.

To use any of this Halloween artwork and effects, open the Messenger app and start a video call, or create a room, or take photos using the Messenger camera, and tap each of the features at the bottom of your screen.
