Microsoft Edge rolling out its stable version of Chromium on Jan 15, 2020. Microsoft Edge is now available on all of your computers and syncs your passwords, preferences, and settings automatically. And it’ll support both Windows and macOS versions.

For Windows 10 machines Microsoft Edge Chromium-based browser replaces the old version of Edge Browser with a new logo. This provides world-class efficiency features with more anonymity, greater flexibility, and greater value when surfing. It will help you stay secure on the web and avoid unauthorized access to your browsing information.

Microsoft Chromium Edge lets you stay safe from malicious and downloadable pages. Microsoft Edge comes with built-in SmartScreen from Microsoft Defender. This will shield you from phishing or malware websites, and from potentially malicious files being downloaded. In Microsoft Edge, Windows Defender SmartScreen is turned on default. And it’ll drive speed, performance, and usability for you.

Seamlessly synchronize your passwords, history, preferences, and settings through all of your apps. Also running on Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7, macOS, iOS, and Android.

The Edge will allow you to customize your user experience by installing your favorite extensions from the Microsoft Edge Addons Store or Chromium 3rd party extension stores, including the Chrome Web Store.

It’ll support Netflix streaming in 4K Ultra HD, Dolby Audio, and Dolby Vision.

Through clicking Immersive Reader mode, Microsoft Edge lets you read the content of website posts loudly.

The new Microsoft Edge and Bing put the web to work for you, allowing you to browse, shop, and more. You can exchange points for gift cards with Microsoft Bonuses in Bing, or you can opt to donate your points to help the charities you care most about. But Microsoft Rewards is currently only available in the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Ireland, Brazil, Italy, The Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Belgium, Hong Kong SAR, Japan, Mexico, and Taiwan.
