Samsung brought One UI 2.5 to the Galaxy S20 series in the latest updates with a pack of most popular features from the Galaxy Note20 series, and it will apply to the other Galaxy devices, according to Samsung said in the statement.
The updates are available on this devices: Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G, S20 Ultra, S20+ 5G, S20+, S20 5G, S20/S10 5G, S10+, S10, S10e, S10 Lite, S9, S9+/Note10+ 5G, Note10+, Note10 5G, Note10, Note10 Lite, Note9/Z Flip 5G, Z Flip, Fold 5G, Fold. Samsung also mentioned providing the latest update until the hardware specifications allow it to provide the optimized mobile experience for users.

In Pro Video mode it will allow you to produce high-quality videos with the Galaxy S20 series. You can give your videos a cinematic look, you just need to shoot in 8K with 24fps frame rate. Optionally you can record footage in a 21:1 aspect ratio, so you can capture more of your experiences.

Whenever you want to produce pro-grade videos or audio quality is as important as the visuals, then Pro Video mode on the Galaxy S20 series gives you the ability to control the smartphone’s mic direction, so you can pick up specific sounds when you shoot. When you want to pair with the Galaxy Buds, then you can use the earbuds as a pro-style lavalier microphone to minimize background noise and record crystal clear audio quality.

The latest update also brings high performance and powerful features to the Galaxy S20 series. In Audio Bookmark, you can now synchronize your notes with audio recordings of lectures or meetings. When you review your notes, you can simply select a section of what you wrote to playback the corresponding audio. Also, you can scroll through audio recordings to see the matching notes.

Samsung updated the Notes app to allow you to import and write on PDF files, making it simpler for you to review and revise documents on-the-go. When you work on multiple devices, the Samsung Notes app allows the autosave and sync function keeps you in the flow by letting you quickly access notes across your Galaxy S20, tablet, and PC. The new template and background color options are also available to the Galaxy S20 series, as well as the ability to add handwritten text to typed documents.

You can now connect your Galaxy S20 to a Smart TV wirelessly and instantly enjoy more space to work and play by using Samsung DeX from the quick panel (smart TVs that support Phone Screen mirroring only). Samsung DeX also allows you to use the Galaxy S20 as a touchpad to control the second display with multi-finger gestures to see recently opened apps and return to the home screen or left or right to switch between the apps.

The latest update also comes with seamless Wi-Fi connectivity to the Galaxy S20 series, which also features in the Galaxy Note20 series (See the Hidden features in the Galaxy Note20 series). With advanced Wi-Fi connectivity, you can easily share the password of the Wi-Fi you are connected to with nearby Galaxy devices that are in your contact list. The new Wi-Fi connectivity feature also shows you the speed of the connections in your surroundings, so you can quickly find the one that suits your needs.

Samsung also updated its Reminder app that you can preset time and location for upcoming meetings and tasks.
