Sony India has announced ZV-1 a pocket-sized digital camera for content creators and vloggers with a lightweight and compact size body design. Sony ZV-1 is the first camera with side opening vari-angle LCD screen allowing creators to simplify their setup. ZV-1 is a very comfortable grip to operate with just one hand.

The new ZV-1 comes with pre-loaded accessories for content creators needed. The accessories include a GP-VPT2BT Shooting Grip with Wireless Remote Commander, 64GB of Ultra-High-Speed Memory Card, and an additional Battery NP-BX1. Sony ZV-1 launching in India on Amazon India on 6th August 2020.

The ZV-1 comes with advanced sony technology that easy-to-use functionalities and making perfect tools designed for the content creators and vloggers. The ZV-1 has a large movie REC button located on the top of the camera for quick access to video recording. It also comes with a recording lamp on the front of the camera that indicates active recording.
Sony ZV-1 has advanced image stabilization, ensuring steady video even with hand-held shooting while walking. When recording in HD mode, optical and electronic stabilization methods are combined to reduce shaking up to 11 times whereas while shooting a 4K video using Optical Steady Shot mode, there is an improvement in stabilization effect to up to 8 times, compared to that of standard Steady Shot. The Shooting Grip with Wireless Remote Commander offers additional stability and comfort combined with cable-free connectivity.
The Sony ZV-1 comes with onboard mic features Sony latest Directional 3-capsule Mic, which is designed for forward-directional audio recording allowing to capture the subject’s voice clearly with less wind noise. Sony also added standard 3.5mm mic jack and Multi-Interface Shoe to ZV-1 to connect a wide range of external microphones.
ZV-1 uses advanced color enhancement to optimize and enhance emphasis on the subject face when the shooting in selfie mode. The ZV-1 creates a smooth and natural skin tone and maintaining sharp images of the mouth and eye in both videos and photos.
The ZV-1 offers two levels of background bokeh while recording. The new Bokeh Switch function enables the vlogger to rapidly adjust the optical aperture between more and less background, defocusing blur without losing focus on the subject. Located on top of the camera, this Bokeh button is easily accessible and makes the selfie-shooting operation a breeze. The large 1 inch CMOS sensor and wide-aperture lens deliver images with professional background bokeh, as well as clear detail even in challenging low-light conditions.
Sony ZV-1 has a new Product Showcase Setting to allows for quick and smooth focus transitions between the subject face and object placed in front of the lens. The new compact camera offers advanced autofocus allowing it to lock on and track subjects with high accuracy and speed while recording. The Real-time Eye AF and Real-time Tracking for video allow the ZV-1 to seamlessly switch focus between multiple subjects while controlling the AF speed and tracking sensitivity to maintaining focus on the intended subject or subjects in busy environments.
The new Face Priority auto exposure (AE) function detects and prioritizes the subject’s face and adjusts the exposure to ensure the face is depicted at an ideal brightness in any situation. “This AE technology also suppresses an abrupt change in exposure if the subject quickly turns away from the frame to eliminate unexpected blown-out or extremely dark shots.”
