Apple Original Films’ “Wolfwalkers” earned 10 Annie Award nominations, including Best Animated Feature – Independent, and Apple TV+’s “Stillwater” received a nomination for Best Preschool Series, for a total of 11 nominations. According to reports, AISFA-Hollywood has announced the nominees for the 48th Annual Annie Awards, which honor the year’s best in the field of animation. In addition, Apple‘s original series and films have earned 74 awards and gained 287 nominations in the past year.
After its release, the Apple Original Film “Wolfwalkers,” co-produced by award-winning animation studios Cartoon Saloon and Melusine Productions and directed by two-time Academy Award nominee Tomm Moore and director Ross Stewart, has received numerous prestigious awards. The film won the AFI Fest and Critics’ Choice Super Award, and the Los Angeles Film Critics Association, New York Film Critics Circle, Dublin Critics Circle, Chicago Film Critics Association, and San Diego Film Critics Society all voted it best-animated film.
The Annie Awards will be announced on Friday, April 16. The Annie Award nominations for “Wolfwalkers” include:

“Wolfwalkers” is set in a time of superstition and magic as a young apprentice hunter, Robyn Goodfellowe, journeys to Ireland with her father to wipe out the last wolf pack. While exploring the forbidden lands outside the city walls, Robyn befriends a free-spirited girl, Mebh, a member of a mysterious tribe rumored to have the ability to transform into wolves by night. As they search for Mebh’s missing mother, Robyn uncovers a secret that draws her further into the enchanted world of the “Wolfwalkers” and risks turning into the very thing her father is tasked to destroy.
Paul Young, Nora Twomey, Tomm Moore, and Stéphan Roelants are the producers of “Wolfwalkers.” In North America, GKIDS is the theatrical distribution partner. “Wolfwalkers,” which may be released in theaters next month, is now available to watch on Apple TV+ via the Apple TV app.
